Located overlooking the vast Cabarete beach, adjacent to our private swimming pool, is the Velero Beach Club. Sitting at the Beach Club towards dusk you will become enchanted with the spectacular sunsets as they dance orange red off the mountains behind Puerto Plata. In the morning, it’s a great place to grab fresh coffee or juice as you watch the early birds cruise the beach.

Staffed by highly trained and dedicated personnel, the Beach Club is open daily from 8am -10pm. The Beach Club is designed for the exclusive use of our guests so feel free to charge your purchase with your room key. If you are not a guest of Velero you can still visit the Beach Club.

The Velero Beach Club serves a broad selection of local and imported beers, wines, champagne, tropical drinks and premium liquors. Our bartender can prepare your drink the way you like it. We have a Happy Hour every evening with daily drink specials to help get you started on an exciting evening in town.

During high season Velero Beach Club offers specials such as Lobster Night or BBQ Night for our guests. Stop down to get your favorite tropical drink along with some fantastic food! With ample seating for 50-60 people, the Velero Beach Club is never too crowded for our guests.
