A German engineer, Gerd Muhlmeister had the original vision to purchase this 7,000 square meter land. Working countless hours to protect it from erosion, he designed a series of barriers that would not only protect Velero Beach Resort from erosion but also the Bay of Cabarete. Developed by Canadian engineer Georges Coutu and constructed by Miguel Bencosme, Velero Beach Resort features a total of 60 rooms from 50 to 200 square meters in size. The spacious suites provide a delightful change for people looking for more space when traveling. All our rooms and suites have direct view on the ocean and features massive wooden furniture with all modern amenities such as: central air, phone, internet access, safe box, cable TV, CD/radio alarm clock, en suite bathroom and full equipped kitchen.
